Social Media Management

I have managed social media accounts for four organisations: Corndel, DeHavilland, Crown Agents, and the Race Equality Foundation. My experience spans various platforms, including X, LinkedIn, Meta, Threads and Instagram. In addition to content creation, I am experienced in using social media advertising platforms and social media management tools such as Hootsuite, HubSpot and Buffer. Key achievements include growing the Race Equality Foundation’s LinkedIn presence by over 30% in 9 months, resulting in it being their biggest channel.

Speaker at Charity Comms Conference

Presented to over 200 charity communications professionals at the CharityComms social media conference on a topic I’ve been passionate about since my early days in marketing: avoiding the pitfalls of performative activism.

All too often, organisations rush to create content for awareness days, assuming this signals their commitment to important causes. However, tokenism and inauthentic messaging can do more harm than good, eroding trust and credibility. I provided top tips for professionals on how to best engage with their audiences authentically.

Infographic example

Working with an external graphic designer, I developed copy for an infographic highlighting Crown Agents’ work in South Sudan, aligned with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. This was part of a broader social media strategy integrated into a communications plan supporting Crown Agents’ bid in reproductive health.
